Model: Finely detailed model. Engine with flywheel, drive on three axles, with two traction tires to increase the traction. Plux22 interface for recording a digital decoder. NEM 362 coupler pocket with KK kinematics. LED top lighting with Swiss light change.
AC model with digital decoder and digitally switchable sound and light functions as well as buffer capacitor for uninterruptible power supply.

The locomotives of the Re 421 are used in cross-border traffic between Switzerland and Germany. For example, the colorful locomotives run along the Rhine Valley Railway with long KLV trains. Like the prototype, the model carries two different pantographs for use in Switzerland and Germany.
