Product Features and Details
Novelty 2026: The large side panels and smooth roof of the BR 152 embody locomotive construction of the 1990s. The PIKO model in 1:160 scale reproduces this overall appearance excellently. Great attention was also paid to the details during construction: the clean roof area is crowned by two finely crafted single-arm pantographs made of metal. The flush-mounted windows provide a clear view into the driver""s cab, while the delicate, freestanding windshield wipers highlight the model""s fine detailing. Separately attached handrails, intricately designed bogies, and prototypical printing perfectly complete the exterior impression.
Technically, the BR 152 impresses with high pulling power and smooth running, making it ideal for use with prototypical freight trains. The sound model comes factory-fitted with a PIKO PSD XP sound decoder, which, in addition to the direction-dependent red/white light change, allows the cab lighting to be switched on. Furthermore, numerous locomotive-specific sounds provide a varied and realistic model railway experience.
