Product Features and Details
Additional carriage B8u (ex A8u) for the SNCF's "Le Capitole", 1985. Following the success of the Mistral 69 carriages, the SNCF classified the Capitole as a TEE train with Grand Comfort carriages and tilting technology. In the 1980s, the exclusive TEE service was gradually replaced by second-class InterCity trains, causing the Capitole to temporarily lose its name and TEE status. After the carriages were refurbished, the name Capitole was reinstated until the train was replaced by the TGV Atlantique in the early 1990s
