Product Features and Details
"Le Capitole" set 1985 with SNCF A8u, Vru, and A4Dtux locomotives, Era IV. The new contact lighting system: The interior lighting operates at approximately 5V; no batteries are required. To switch it on or off, simply touch the roof at one end. A large-capacity buffer memory compensates for dirty track sections or other contact problems. A memory function stores the interior lighting state (on/off). This function is particularly useful for digital emergency stops, when switching off entire track sections, or when stopping a train at a station in an analog system. The lighting for each car can be dimmed individually by touching the roof for more than one second. The system is factory-integrated; the cars do not need to be opened or soldered.
