Swiss Simplon Locomotive.
The Swiss are Celebrating the 100 year anniversary of the Simplon Tunnel and Fulgurex will make the celebration even better with two Era I electrics!!! These new Simplon locomotives were the first locomotives that ran between Italy and Switzerland through the Simplon tunnel.
Prototype: The Swiss Class FB3/5 (Be3/5) was built by BBC in 1907. Locomotive #365, was the first Swiss Locomotive to travel through the Simplon tunnel connecting Switzerland and Italy. Model: Fulgurex exqusite new model is handmade out of brass and is painted in an attractive green/grey livery. It features a bell shaped brushless motor, dcc interface, intricate drive rod running charteristics and extensive detail. This model is extremly limited and will be delivered in December 2006.
