RENFE Taoos-type 4-axle sliding roof wagon, grey and yellow "Saltra" livery. Taoos-type hopper wagons shaped Spanish rail freight transport for decades. They were used by Renfe, Saltra, and later by private operators for transporting coal, lime, and other bulk goods. Thanks to their four-axle design with gravity discharge, they enabled efficient operation. Despite their decline due to the closure of coal-fired power plants, they remain iconic freight wagons on the Iberian Peninsula.
