Product Features and Details
Six-axle electric locomotive class 276-129, with two different pantographs, multiple control, and snow guards on the roof, green livery of RENFE, Era IV. The Class 276 is a legendary electric locomotive of the Spanish railway RENFE, developed by Alstom and in service from 1956. It is based on the French CC 7100 and was originally numbered 7601–7699 and 8601–8637, later in the UIC numbering system as 276-001 to 276-099 and 276-101 to 276-137. The locomotives were primarily based at the depots in Barcelona, Alcázar de San Juan, and Valencia, but were also used in Zaragoza and Santander. The classic green livery characterized almost their entire service life, with the exception of a few Talgo-compatible units (7630, 7662, 7666) in red/silver. Later, some locomotives received the distinctive black/yellow "taxi" color scheme. A must-have for any model railway layout that wants to authentically depict Spanish railway history.
