In the 1990s, the heavy duty freight cars of the Deutsche Reichsbahn were still to be found in the stock of the DB AG. The six-axle cars built in Belgium and Yugoslavia had a load-bearing capacity of 89 tonnes, were equipped with a Knorr standard brake and a floor-operated handbrake. However, the originally planned task ÔÇô transporting heavy track vehicles ÔÇô meanwhile turned into more civilian use.
