Prototype
The Apfelpfeil (Apple Arrow) was one of Europe's most colorful private holiday trains of the 1970s and 1980s. Operated by a German travel company, it featured unique specialty coaches, including a movie theater coach, a party/lounge coach, panoramic cars, restaurant cars, couchette coaches, and baggage cars, providing passengers with a memorable vacation experience while traveling across Germany, Austria, and Italy. ACME's Set 2 accurately recreates this distinctive portion of the train and can be combined with Sets 1 and 3 to assemble a complete Apfelpfeil consist.
