The fox rims make the 911s unforgotten
When the Porsche 911 SC was presented by WIKING more than 30 years ago, the collectors were already full of praise. The "Super-Carrera" had a clear existence right in the 1: 87-program of the traditional model builders, after all, the first "Nine-Elfer" was already a long-running at WIKING. With the now realized miniature, WIKING has once again increased the degree of filigranization. The legendary Fuchsfelgen give the Zuffenhausener Sportcoupé even more racy. And even the fine Porsche lettering, which characterizes the "G3" series on the rear side, must not be missing. The birth of the Fuchsfelge itself dates back 50 years. With the development of the Porsche 911, the success story of the Fuchsfelge began. When Porsche developed its "Nine-Elfer" in 1962, a very special wheel was sought. It should have outstanding features and also open up new dimensions. It should be an alloy wheel. In addition to its attractive appearance, the lower weight and the resulting reduction in the unsprung masses promised significantly better handling and increased ride comfort. Today the Fuchsfelge is considered a sporty classic among the accessories.
