    Developed from the 110 series, the BR 115 was mainly used for car transport. After its original use as a luggage and mail train locomotive declined, it was later also used for passenger transport.

    Prototype: German Railroad, Inc. class 115 electric locomotive. Locomo- tive body includes aerodynamic ends and the so-called Pants Crease with continuous ventilation band. Road number 115 346-9. The locomotive looks as it did in 2014.
