    Prototype: multi-purpose locomotive series 200.1 V of the German Federal Railroad (DB). Built starting in 1962. Diesel-hydraulic drive with 2 V12 engines. Application: Medium and heavy passenger and freight trains. Original version of the later series 221

    Model: frame and body made ??of diecast metal. Built-in digital decoder and a sound generator for operation with DCC, Selectrix and Selectrix 2 Motor with a flywheel, 4 axles powered, traction tires. The headlights and marker lights with the direction of travel, with warm white LED cab lighting can be controlled digitally. Close coupler mechanism. Separately applied handrails. Length over the buffers 115 mm.  

    Highlights: Completely new tooling. Lighting with warm white LEDs. Cab lighting. Digital sound with many features. One-time series for Trix Club members. 's success, the V 200.0 Following was added at Krauss-Maffei 1960, the construction of the series V 200.1 in order. Also provided for the heavy passenger and freight service, the already proven design principles of the V 200.0 should be used, but with an increased power output of 1986 kW now (2,700 hp).
