Digital Starter Set Express Train
Prototype: French State Railways (SNCF) BB 9231 express electric locomotive in the special Arzens livery and two 2nd class couchette cars (B9c9x). Operating condition circa 1995.
Model: Built-in digital decoder and sound generator for operation with mfx and DCC. Motor with flywheel, 4 axles driven, traction tires. Headlights and taillights change with the direction of travel, with warm white LEDs, cab lighting, digitally switchable. Close-coupling mechanism. Separately applied grab irons. Directional headlights operate analogously. Cars with close-coupling mechanism, prepared for the later installation of interior lighting.
