    HO Scale DC Era I 

    Model: Handmade brass model of a Type K coal car in a limited edition. Car has spring-loade buffers and 2 doors on each side. Wheels are in RP 25 FS.

    Prototype: Since the early 1880 coal cars were used by all railroads. This version had a capacity of 12 tons. Very caracteristic were the solid wooden boards on the top and the horizontal hinged doors.
