For Germany, coal mining was one of the most important industries in the 1960s. The coal was burned mainly in power plants to generate electricity. Therefore, it is not surprising that in most mines large-scale track systems had to be present in order to transport the masses of coal on. As a reminder of this important economic branch of Germany appears due to the closure of the last two German collieries this special train set.
