The "Chaloner" Locomotive is a great level entry kit for the beginner. The best feature about the "Chaloner" is that you can run it on four different gauges because the wheels are adjustable, gauge positioning tool is included. Model will run on 30 mm O-Gauge, 32mm Gauge, 45mm G-Gauge and 45mm I-Gauge Track. The locomotive operates with water, gas and oil. Model is propelled by a centrically standing two-cylinder machine. Model can be run in forward and reverse by simply moving the direction lever. Models is "ready to run". All tools for use are included in the packaging. The only thing you need is gas and destilled water which can be uptained from any camping or hardware store. There's nothing better than a live steam locomotive and the "Chaloner" would be a perfect start.
