Model: With the H0 model of the Vectron electric locomotive of the FS Mercitalia in epoch VI, PIKO fulfills the wishes of PIKO fans, who have decided on both models as systems operators and as collectors for models based on state-of-the-art railway technology. With the Vectron, PIKO is supplying a high-precision model with numerous extras based on a solid die-cast zinc frame and proven PIKO standards. The proven PIKO engine ensures excellent running characteristics with two large flywheels. The tractive power of the locomotive, which is driven by all four axles, is amplified by two traction tires, which are arranged diagonally on the inside axles of both bogies. The lighting of the front and rear lights is via LEDs whose red or white changes with the direction of travel.
