New for 2024: The modern BR 101 in the design of Train Charter Services. The single-arm pantographs have been recreated extremely delicately and sharply engraved bogies complete the visual appearance. To complement this, removable brake hoses are included. A powerful, 5-pole motor ensures smooth travel. Equipped with two flywheels, the PIKO BR 101 stands out for its extremely smooth running. Two diagonally mounted traction tires provide traction when moving. The technical highlight is the built-in driver's cab and driver's desk lighting. The light changes depending on the direction of travel in red/white, of course using the latest LED technology. In digital operation, these functions can be switched separately. Thanks to the modern PluX22 interface, a suitable decoder can be easily retrofitted for this purpose. The model is also prepared for easy retrofitting of sound with the largest possible loudspeaker.
