Electric locomotive BR 101 of the DB AG, epoch VI, AC with sound
New for 2021: Now this all-rounder from DB AG is also represented as a PIKO Expert model. The modern design of the locomotive has been modeled exactly. The locomotive is prototypically painted in traffic red, including the "DB cookie". The single-arm pantographs are extremely filigree. Sharply engraved bogies round off the visual appearance. Optional brake hoses are included for complementing. A powerful 5-pole motor ensures free travel. Equipped with two flywheels, the PIKO BR 101 stands out with its extremely smooth running. Two diagonally attached traction tires provide traction when moving forward. The technical highlight are the built-in driver's cab and driver's desk lighting. The light change takes place depending on the direction of travel in red / white, of course made with the latest LED technology. In digital mode, these functions can be switched separately. This is controlled by a PluX 22 decoder. Simple digitization is already prepared using a plug-in interface.
