The switch has odd geometry with other LGB and Piko tracks, and you will need to really plan out the set-up, be sure to order an assortment of the small LGB and Piko track pieces if you plan on having, double track main line with crossovers or the like. The rails weather nicely to a prototypical colour. I would caution those that live in places where the summer is unbearably hot (West Texas); to be mindful of heat expansion in the rails, that may cause the ties near ends of the track sections to separate from the rails. Especially with switches, around the point blades.
