Prototype: Class 491 electric observation railcar, nicknamed the "Glass Train" of the German Federal Railway (DB). Features double headlights at the front, microphones, a train radio antenna, and pantographs. Paint scheme: white aluminum/Olympic blue. Operating condition circa 1977.
Model: Completely new design, chassis and body made of a metal/plastic combination. One bogie driven by a coreless motor. Unobstructed view through the windows. Detailed interior and driver's cab. Directional headlights: 3x warm white/2x red with maintenance-free LEDs. High level of detail with fine and elaborate paintwork and lettering. Minimum radius for operation: 195 mm. Length over buffers approx. 93.8 mm.
