                                Prototype: German Federal Railroad (DB) class 65 passenger tank locomotive as it looked in Era IIIb.
Model: This is completely new tooling and is a finely detailed model with many individual features. The boiler and frame are constructed of metal. The imitation brakes, rail clearance devices, etc. are modelled on the underside of the locomotive. The working valve gear and side rods are finely detailed. The locomotive has enlarged buffer plates. Warm white triple headlights and dual red marker lights change over with the direction of travel. Warm white / red LEDs are used for the lighting. The locomotive has a motor with a bell-shaped armature. All the driving axles are powered. The wheels are black nickel-plated. The locomotive has window inserts. There are permanent cab lighting and a detailed cab interior. Length over the buffers approximately 70.8 mm / 2-3/4".
