The containers have weights, but need more as the wagon is very light so it doesn't derail on curves and through turnouts. I also had to use velcro to fasten the containers to the wagon. There is nothing to hold them in place. The container bottoms unscrew, so adding weight is easy. I used heavy 2 inch lag bolts and nuts. They fit between the screw posts. Now it is heavy and stays on the rails!
