Model: in true to the original livery and lettering. In-plane applied windows. Metal die-cast chassis. Motor with flywheel. Drive on four axles. Taction tyres. Interface according to NEM 651 standards for the installation of a digital decoder. Triple headlights that change with the direction of travel.
The electric locomotives of the BR E 94 that had remained in the DR after the war were disrespectfully called ÔÇ×EisenschweinÔÇØ (iron pig). No matter that they were the backbone of the goods traffic in the DR for the longest time. A notable difference to the DB version were the red painted bogies. The locomotives operated for the DR until 1990.
