Information about the model
The compartment carriages acquired by the DRG (German Reich Railway) were primarily used for commuter traffic in metropolitan areas, but also continued to run in express trains, some with considerable routes. At least 45 carriages had been fitted with a luggage compartment by the DRG and therefore reclassified as C4tr. It wasn't uncommon to encounter a farmer's wife with a pig or sheep on her way to the city in one of these carriages.
