    Day 3, Monday, January 28

    Prague City Tour

We will meet with our professional tour guide. We will stay in the Old Town with includes the astronomical clock, the old town square and the St. Nicholas church. The tour will continue over the Charles Brridge to the old Jewish quarters. We will end the tour in one of the old pubs to test some Czech beers. The Czechs invented the Lager and the Pilsner beer and drink the most beer per capita.

    Day 4, Tuesday, January 29

    Prague-Castle

We are heading up to the Prague castle. This castle does not only include the Old Royal Palace and the New Royal Palace it also includes the St. Vitus Cathedral, the Basilica of St. George and the Golden Lane. We will find our way back to the old city over the Charles bridges.

    Day 5, Wednesday, January 30

Prague Transportation Museum and Boat Ride

Today is the Transportation Museum on our agenda. We will spend a few hours there and afterwards going down to the river. We will climb on board of our boat and drift down the river while our dinner will be served.

    Day 6, Thursday, January 31

    Prague-Lichtenfels

Well, our days in Prague are over and today we will head to Bavaria. We will board our Express train to Lichtenfels, which will bring us there within 5 hours. After we settle in our new hotel, we give you the rest of the day off to relax or do as you wish.

    Day 7, Friday, February 01

    Cranzahl-Oberwiesenthal

This is one of the nicest narrow gauge train rides in Germany. Our destination point (Oberwiesenthal) is 2999 feet above sea level and therefore the highest situated town in Germany. Besides tourism and winter sports Oberwiesenthal is also known for their wood carvings. Expressive items from this region are the “Smoking Men, the Christmas Pyramids and the Schwibbogen”. I am sure you can find an artsy item for yourself.

    Day 8, Saturday, February 02

    Nürnberg Toy Fair

The Toy Fair is surely the highlight of our tour. For any individual that likes toys, trains, Christmas ornaments or any hobby related products this fair is a must. Visiting the Toy Fair is a rare opportunity, because it is not open to the public; our guests are allowed to visit the fair because we get them in as employees. The fair is a treat for our eyes. The manufactures’ booths are incredible with all the new products, all the layouts and dioramas – we will be like kids in a candy store.

    Day 9, Sunday, February 03

    Nuremberg

We spend our last day in Germany in Nuremberg. If some of you want to go back to the Toy Fair let us know so we can arrange the tickets. For all the others, we will start with the Transportation Museum. This is one of the best transportation museums in the world. You will also enjoy the big Fleischmann layout what they have set up and also the 1:10 scale models of locomotives. After that we will tour the city. We can go to the castle or the St. Lorenz Church, see the Toy Museum or the Albrecht Dürer house. You just tell us your preferences.
