Prototype: German Federal Railroad (DB) unit E 10 1240 electric locomotive. High-speed locomotive as a "Rheingold" interim locomotive with an angular locomotive body, 5 headlamps, continuous rain gutter and high-performance ventilator. Basic coloration cobalt blue / beige. Operating condition summer 1962. Application: passenger trains of local and long-distance traffic.
Model: redesign. Housing and support made of die-cast zinc. Built-in digital decoder and noise generator for operation with DCC and Selectrix. Motor with flywheel, 4 axles powered, traction tires. Headlamps and taillights changing with the direction of travel, with warm white LEDs, cab lighting, digitally switchable. Kinematics for close coupling. Set up handlebars. Length over buffer 103 mm.
