Prototype: Steam Locomotive with a Tender series 38.10-40 of the Deutsche Bundesbahn (DB) with Wagner smoke deflectors. Former Prussian P8.
Model: Locomotive and Tender mainly die-cast metal. Coreless motor with a flywheel in the boiler. Built-in digital decoder and a sound generator with the DCC formats, Selectrix® and Selectrix® second locomotive and tender kurzgekuppelt. 3 axles powered. Traction tires. 2-headlights are warm white LEDs.

For railway enthusiasts in Germany and Europe applies the Prussian P8 for almost 100 years as one of the finest steam locomotives ever. From 1906 to 1928 more than 3800 machines were for the Royal Prussian Railway Administration (KPEV), built for other countries railways, for railways abroad and for the German State Railroad (DRG). Over 300 locomotives were after 1945 in Germany still in use, the last working up in the 70s in regional traffic. Until today, distributed in almost all of Europe, around 20 locomotives survived operational.
