To bridge the space between individual modules with sliding rail profiles 67 to 70mm. The rail profiles of this track element are designed to remain variable in length, so that, when installed at the edge of a layout board, the profiles can slide out to bridge the gap to a neighboring layout module. Equally important, the profiles can be pushed back from the board edge to permit safe transportation of the individual layout sections.
