German DB Custom Weathered Steel Coke Train Port Set
Locomotive Prototype: German DB oil firing 2-8-2 "Mikado" freight locomotive class 042. Conversion version with new high-performance boiler, witte smoke deflectors and rebuilt tow bar with oil tender. Loco is hand weathered from the factory and looks like it did in the early 1970's.
Locomotive Model: High detail model with diecast metal and factory installed digital DCC sound decoder. Locomotive and tender are short-coupled, 3 axles powered in the tender, illuminated red/orange flickering LED smoke box light. Model is also equipped with LED running board frame lights and interior cab lighting. Length over buffer 150 mm.
Freight Cars: This exquisite set consists of six custom weathered coke coal transport cars from NME. NME cars are highly detailed with metal frames and removable buckets. The buckets have coal loads just like the prototype. Three cars are fitted with large two bin removable buckets and three cars are fitted with three bin removable buckets. These cars are used in steel proudction, the bins are removed from the cars and the coke coal is dumped into the blast furnance. Each cars is hand weathered and each car has a different car number. Set is very limited.
