Prototype: Electric high-speed multiple unit EC 250 as RABe 501 "Giruno" of the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB), 1 end car A (Bt1) 2nd class, 1 middle car D (B9) 2nd class with pantograph, 1 middle car E (B8) 2nd class, 1 middle car F (B7) 2nd class with handicapped-accessible entrances and pantograph, 1 middle car G (WR6) with restaurant area, 1 middle car H (A5) 1st class with disabled entrances and pantograph, 1 end car L (At2) 1st class. Also approved for Germany and Austria. Train number RABe 501 004. Presentation train, with striking Switzerland/Italy design on the end cars. Operating condition around 2018/19.
Model: 7-part basic set. Restaurant car G and the two middle cars F and H arranged on the left
and right are firmly coupled to each other via the Jakobs bogies. With digital decoder mfx+ and
extensive sound and light functions. Regulated high-performance drive with flywheel installed centrally in the restaurant car. All 4 axles in both Jakobs bogies on the left and right of the
restaurant car are driven via cardan shaft. Traction tires. Driver's cabs of the end cars with interior fittings. Direction-dependent power supply via the front end car. Guide rails in the Jakobs bogies.
Three-light headlights and two red tail lights that change depending on the direction of travel, conventional operation, digitally switchable. Can be switched to a white tail light (Swiss light change). Other separately switchable light functions. Interior lighting installed as standard.
Interior lighting is supplied via the continuous electrical connection of the entire train. In addition, driver's cab and control panel lighting can each be switched separately digitally. All lighting with maintenance-free warm white and red light-emitting diodes (LED). Single-arm pantographs on the middle cars D, F and H can each be raised and lowered separately as a digital function. Scaled replica. Minimum radius that can be driven on is 360 mm. Length of the basic set approximately 152 cm.
The 7-part basic set 39811 can be expanded to a prototypical 11-part train set with the 2-part add-on car sets 043466 and 043467.
