In 1908, Maschinenfabriken Esslingen was commissioned to build a large hot steam Pacific fast train locomotive. By 1921 a total of 41 machines had been built. As a preamble to fast travel, in front of the Orient Express and other CIWL trains, these striking machines, all stationed in Stuttgart, were used. A unique, limited edition.
