Prototype: Throughout the course of their lives, the locomotives belonging to the 119 series had varying appearances. In some cases, particular details of the locomotives were changed during procurement, meaning that the individual series were different from one another (e.g. central head light located at the top of the vehicle or in the centre of the locomotive beneath the windows). Further changes were carried out during its use. This led to hardly any of the locomotives looking alike whilst in service.
