Prototype: The great age of the colorful tank cars were the 50s and 60s. At that time the Watch was much greater than it is today in the petrol brands and almost all companies used the tank car as advertising space. The largest number of colorful tank car sat a shell. Their yellow tank wagons brought variety to the otherwise dominant brown and gray of freight trains.
