Truck tipper can be more than just agriculture The Krampe half-pipe tipper truck is also becoming increasingly popular in civil engineering or landscaping, with the aim of taking charge of loading tasks with high efficiency. The Halbrundmulde took over Krampe from the truck area as a formally harmoniously conceived construction. Due to the elimination of the longitudinal and transverse beams, the "halfpipe" has a lower dead weight compared to the conventional tipping well. This increases the payload of the vehicle - the permissible total weight is 20 tonnes. The advantages in day-to-day operation are obvious: the bulk material slides over the trough wall at a flatter angle during loading. When transporting "thick chunks" such as boulders, the buckling of the trough is prevented. The round trough shape also prevents bulk goods remaining in the troughs - the load automatically slides towards the center of the trough during the tipping operation.
