    Prototype: Electric locomotive 110439-7 German Federal Railroad (DB) with a streamlined front ("crease"). BB wheel arrangement. Built starting in 1963. Use: sleeper cab.

    Model: Built-in digital decoder and a sound effects generator for operation with DCC, Selectrix, and Selectrix 2. motor with a flywheel, 4 axles powered, traction tires. The headlights and marker lights with the direction of travel, with warm white LEDs, engine room lighting can be controlled digitally. Close coupler mechanism. All functions in the digital format SX2. Typical embodiments of the rebuilt in the epoch IV machines with undisguised Pufferbohle, lateral single fans and changed gutter. Length over buffers 103 mm.

    The unit types program established in 1954 by the DB for electric locomotives provided the series E 10 for use in express and fast-stopping train service. The 150 km/h fast series machines express trains from 500 t weight 5 ‰ should carry slope with 140 km/h. In October 1954, the DB ordered the first of the machines designated as DRG class E 10.1, drew for the construction of Krauss-Maffei (mech. Part) and SSW (el. All series-E 10 received the strömungsgünstigeren box for the first time used in these vehicles, with the characteristic "crease" on the front in 1963. The as-designed engines formed the sub-class E 10.3, the first production machine with crease was the E 10 288. The six Rheingold E 10.12 followed in 1964 with E 10 1308-1312 five more machines, the last series of 160 km/h fast machines in 1968 already as 112 485-504 came off. Overall the DB received 379 E series machines 10.1/E 10.3, as well as 31 engines of class E 10.12. Bridge frame and box profile steel frame is a welded structure, on which the wear plates are welded on. The Panel is a self-supporting unit with bridge girders and roof construction. The four traction motors afford 3.620 kW, is powered by the SSW - rubber ring spring drive. The pantograph being re-developed and were given the designation of DBS 54a. In the meantime changed the look of most machines by countless tags, mentioning only the removal of the aprons (E 10.3), the conversion of the fan, the omission of gutters and many others. Throughout their years, the locomotives changed again and again their color and often the series numbers. So, the 114-485-504, in 1991 were the 110 485-504 from the 112 485-504 in 1988. The remaining 112 ran in 1992 as a series 113. 2005 was some 110 DB Regio to DB Autozug (dissolved September 2013 and DB long-distance) submitted and listed there as series 115. The last 110 went in February 2014 on the edge and only nine 115 run yet, including a total of five "creases".
