Prototype: The Class 1014 electric locomotive of the Austrian Federal Railways was a multi-system dual-purpose locomotive that was used primarily on EuroCity passenger trains in and out of Austria. Introduced in 1993, twenty 1014s were built for the OBB from 1993 to 1994. The 1014s had a maximum speed of 106 MPH (160KPH) and a continuous power output of 3000 kW. They were quickly superseded by the Taurus Class locomotives and were withdrawn from service in 2009.
