The railway company AWT is a member of the PKP Cargo Group. The large vehicle fleet of the company consists of approx. 160 locomotives and more than 5.000 wagons. Since some years, the multiple-current-system locomotives of the Siemens family 183 were also incorporated into the vehicle fleet. The locomotives haul trains which carry heavy goods, such as coal, steel and components for the automotive industry.
