Model: is equipped with a 22 pole PluX Interface, LED lights that change with the direction of travel. Motor with flywheel. Drive on all four axles, two of them have traction tyres. Coupler pocket according to NEM 362 standards and close coupling mechanism. With digitally switchable sound functions.
Since many years the Austrian railway company ÖBB is cooperating with the famous charity campaign Licht ins Dunkel. Roco & Fleischmann also participates in bringing “light into the dark” since several years through this fund-raising campaign. The benefits go directly to people in need - for a good cause, not only around Christmas but throughout the whole year. At the 23rd of November 2016 the ÖBB introduced apart from 4 specially designed buses also a special locomotive! The electric locomotive 1116 158 will now represent the charity idea for about one year being the fastest and strongest advertising vehicle of the campaign. The locomotive will be used in front of the Railjet in the high-class passenger train traffic and will run through Germany and several neighbor countries as well. The night-blue background is covered by stars in the shape of Austria, not only kids will get shining eyes… Our extensively printed model will be delivered in spring 2017.
