The DB Bahnbau Group is responsible for the planning, construction and maintenance of the "Infrastruktur" network, particularly for the one of the "Eisenbahninfrastruktur". The company has its own locomotives to haul the trains. A yellow "Ludmilla" with locomotive number 233 493 and the characteristic name "Tiger" is available for the heaviest tasks. The locomotive, of Soviet origin, had a new 2,206 kW "Kolomna diesel motor" mounted when they converted it in 2002/03. It has been working like a dog for the track construction team since 2014.
