Model: multi-system locomotive series shows all the relevant details of its model and convinces with the finest paint and printing, raised name badges on the sides, extra attached front handles and door handle bars, sharply engraved bogie panels, fine insulators and pantographs with different contact pieces. The lighting is done by means of LEDs. The driver's cab and engine room lighting fitted as standard are digitally switchable with the PluX22 decoder, as are the taillights that function depending on the direction of travel. A powerful five-pole engine with two precisely balanced flywheels, which drives all four axles, ensures excellent driving characteristics. The heavy PIKO model has two traction tires and a heavy zinc die-cast frame for high tractive effort. The PIKO 181.2 is prepared for an uncomplicated retrofitting with sound and loudspeaker. Optionally attachable brake hose dummies are included with the model.
