    HO Scale DC Era III 

    Model: Prototypical firmly connected railcar unit, 5-pole, skewed armature motor with a flywheel, 1 traction tire, close-coupling mechanisms between the cars, digital interface for pluggable 21-pin decoder, two-light LED headlights white / red with the direction of travel, length over buffers 412 m 

    Prototype: Since 1907/08 the Prussian - Hessian state railways and parallel also the Reich railways used successfully the accumulator railcar developed by the Kurmark Gustav Wittfeld in Alsace - Lorraine. As a two-piece, solid-coupled unit they had 6-14 places 2nd class, 36 seats in 3rd class and 26 places 4th class. With the standing there were 168 places. It is amazing to think there were battery operated railcars already developed.
