Between 1966 and 1970, the SBB Brünigbahn purchased a total of 73 Type III standard wagons including the A 201-206, the AB 401-412 and the B 701-755. These contributed until the commissioning of the new carriages "Adler", "Fink" and "Spatz" by the central railway merged from SBB Brünig and LSE eg the main load of passenger traffic over the Brünigpass and on the two-sided valley sections.
