Jade green Ascona B at the end of the vinyl roof era
The vinyl roof in 1975, when Opel presented its Ascona B, could still be ordered. But the era of the two-color sedans came to an end in the second half of the 1970s. And so the Opel Ascona B in jade green metallic with its contrasting black roof stands also for the leakage of a equipment day. Nevertheless, the Ascona B seems to be a bit more up-to-date from today's point of view, compared to its predecessor in any case a quantum leap. And indeed: from the 1975 model until the introduction of its successor, the Ascona B became the Opel production model, which until then was the most productive. No wonder that 1,512,971 copies, including the Vauxhall version, ran from the band. Today the Ascona B is a top-of-the-line Youngtimer, which is equipped with a clear increase in print comfort over 30 years after the model award.
