This communal Unimog was indispensable to have wanted building yards and could not do without the Unimog - there was simply nothing comparable for road maintenance and winter service. The Unimog U 406 - 1967 presented by WIKING - miniaturized thus for the first time a standard vehicle, which worked well into the 1980er years reliably. And in fact, individual specimens are still in the municipal orange and with warning light still today as a reserve vehicle in the vehicle roofs. A larger distinction as proof of the appreciation of the U 406 can hardly exist for a Unimog.
