At the production times of his model, the van was already at the WIKING in the modellbauerischen planning, but the Doka disappeared at that time as a sample in the archive. Only the vans and the bus should arrive in collectors' hands in the 1980s and have been designed in the meantime according to fire service models. The VW T3 was once the third generation of the VW transporter, which shaped the street scene of the 1980s in Germany and Europe. It was produced from 1979 to 1992 and was at the same time the last transporter series with rear engine and drive, which still gives the model in the Bulli chronology classic status. WIKING is thus closing a gap for the fire brigade collectors within the successful Youngtimer range.
