The Mercedes-Benz convertible success story began with 190 SL
Mercedes-Benz presented its first elegant post -war convertible in the USA - the response was very positive in 1954. With the start of production in 1955 the Mercedes-Benz 190 SL advanced with a list price of 16,500 DM - for many unachievable - to the great dream cabriolet. The car body designers from Mercedes-Benz had drawn the vehicle sportily and exclusively, and they had no idea that they would begin with the 190s a SL chronology to this day. WIKING revitalizes the 190 SL from the historical WIKING forms of the 1960s and finishes the convertible with gray clear lacquer finishing and contemporary white wall tires.
