Christmas without the carol "Silent Night! Holy Night!" is no Christmas at all.
On December 24th, 1818, the village school teacher and organ player franz Xaver Gruber and the auxiliary priest Josph Mohr sang the carol the very first time in the St. Nikolaus Church in Oberndorf near Salzburg/Austria.
By the turn of the century the St. Nikolaus Church has been torn down and the Silent Night Memorial established at the same place.
The original Silent Night Memorial Chapel made by Vollmer in N scale (1:160) is delivered with lots of extras e.g: socket bulb, artificial snow and last not least with the Silent-Night-CD with original 6 verses of the carol, in German, in English and 15 more languages.
The Silent Night Memorial Chapel can be used as a romantically lit Christmas decoration, as Christmas gift with CD or just as a further milestone on your modelrailway layout.
