2018 German Toyfair Dealer Set.
Set consists of one DRG Streamlined BR 05 with Sound and three express coaches. Highly detailed set painted in a very attractive blue livery. The locomotive has attractive yellow pinstripes and coaches come with the Reichs Eagles. This consist would have been a typical German express train for the 1940's. Adding an additional Marklin 43224 car set would make the train very prototypical.
Please Note: These sets were reserved for those dealers in attendance at the 2018 Toyfair and placing Toyfair orders there. Most dealers do not receive these models. Reserve yours now because we were only able to obtain a small handful.
Locomotive Model: Model comes with DCC factory installed digital sound decoder with extensive sound functions. The locomotive has controlled high-efficiency propulsion with a flywheel, mounted in the boiler. 3 axles powered. Traction tires. The locomotive and tender are constructed mostly of metal. Minimum radius for operation is 360 mm / 14-3/16“. Cutouts in the side streamlining for smaller track curves can be filled in with add-on fill pieces.
The dual headlights change over with the direction of travel, will work in conventional operation, and can be controlled digitally. The third headlight as a headlight for oncoming trains can be controlled separately in digital operation. The engineer‘s cab lighting can be controlled separately in digital operation. Maintenance-free, warm white LEDs are used for the lighting.
The locomotive and tender have numerous, separately applied grab irons. A 7226 smoke generator can be installed on the locomotive. There is a permanent close coupling between the locomotive and tender.
Coach Set: Coaches are highly detailed with full interiors and are equipped with 7319 plug-in current-conducting coupler pockets or the 72020/72021 working close couplers that can easily be popped in. The cars look as the prototype did in the 1940's. Length over the buffers 24.4 cm / 9-5/8". DC wheel set 4 x E700580.
