Model: Locomotive and Tender mainly die-cast metal. Built-in digital decoder for DCC operation, Selectrix® and Selectrix® second motor with a flywheel in the boiler. Locomotive and tender kurzgekuppelt. 5 axles powered through side rods. Traction tires.
Until 1921 produced a total of eight manufacturers 1168 engines type G 12 for the Prussian State Railway Administration (P.St.EV) and the DRG. More 321 identical locomotives went to other railway undertakings. 1925, the genus G 12 was redrawn by the Deutsche Reichsbahn-Gesellschaft in BR 58, wherein the Prussian G 12 the series designation received 5810-21. In the collections of the Deutsche Bundesbahn in 1950 were still 152 locomotives of this series.
